Our school distinguishes itself from any other academic institution by its religious atmosphere. Every student is immersed in a total school experience that offers them an opportunity to grow in faith each and every day. The faculty and staff recognize that they are teachers by vocation which elevates their position to a level that is much higher than one who just teaches students to read and to write. Our teachers and staff serve as models of faith, inspiration and challenge our students to live their lives in the same manner.
Each day begins and ends with prayer. Students pray before and after meals and grades Kindergarten – 8th grade attend mass as a community every week. Students in grades K-8 prepare and participate in weekly Liturgy and other special occasions. Grades 3-8, faculty and staff, have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Advent and Lent.
Every grade level selects a service project that ranges from local entities to national and may even include adopting soldiers that are away from their families. Catholic Schools Week offers opportunities for our students to show their faith as well as a number of other occasions such as May Crowning, Feast Days etc.
