An investment in Catholic education at the Basilica School of St. Paul pays dividends for life. However, for many families, paying is a financial challenge.

The Basilica of St. Paul believes that the educational cost should not be a deterrent to current and prospective students and their families.

The best advice we can offer is, “Make your educational decision, and then look into the steps necessary to pay for it.” With this in mind, know that there are options available to help you meet school expenses and that we welcome your questions.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid enables the Basilica School of St. Paul to enroll students who would not otherwise have access to a Catholic education because of financial constraints. The extension of this aid makes our school more accessible and affordable, thus fostering a more diverse school community.

The Basilica of St. Paul Church offers need-based financial aid for students whose families cannot afford the full cost of education. Every academic year a number of families receive financial assistance dollars that do not need to be repaid. Financial aid assistance is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to qualified students who have been admitted as new students or are returning students.

The admission is a separate issue that is handled through the school office.  If a student is admitted to the school this does not automatically qualify the family for financial aid.

Families that are interested in financial aid must apply for it  following the established procedure. It is not uncommon for prospective families to apply for student financial aid. All financial aid awards are based solely upon the family’s need as determined by the Financial Aid Committee.

As mandated by the Diocese of Orlando, the Basilica uses the Tuition Aid Analysis form from FACTS Tuition Management to help with the process of awarding Financial Aid. The application may be accessed online at https://www.factstuitionaid.com/FACTS/gaapp. No financial aid is awarded until the finance office receives official documentation from the organization.

It is the responsibility of parents to submit the forms online or by mail, no later than by the published due date so that financial aid decisions can be made on a timely basis.
